Tenants include the site’s two developers, FDI Groupe and Holding Tissot, as well as Crédit Agricole du Languedoc, Vinci, and Nexity. The complex will host a total of about sixty companies and 1,500 employees, of which 600 are for new jobs. It is a symbol of Montpellier’s strong appeal.
At Montpellier’s eastern entrance stands a group of high-end office buildings called @7center (sounds like
asset center in French), named for its seven buildings. Inaugurated on May 18, @7center features a 33,000 m² complex, including headquarters of site’s two developers, FDI Groupe and Holding Tissot, as well as sixty other companies, such as Crédit Agricole du Languedoc, Vinci, Nexity, MSA, AG2R, and many more. With Free, West, and the startups hosted by
Village by CA (the Crédit Agricole startup incubator), the focus is on digital activities and new technologies. Dominique Guérin, Managing Director of FDI Groupe says that, “
the overall site welcomes about 1,500 employees, of which 600 are for new jobs.”
@7center is ideally located in the Odysseum district, near the A9 motorway, Montpellier airport, TGV train station, and tramway. Featuring an underground parking lot with 850 spaces, the business center forms a multiservice hub with day care, a restaurant, fitness center, and concierge/dry cleaning services. Designed by architects DGLa and Pascal Mégias, @7center earned “sustainable Mediterranean building” classification thanks to its acoustic and thermal qualities. The complex covers a vast 2-hectare landscaped area that is entirely reserved for pedestrians.
This ambitious real estate program began with a call-for-projects launched by SERM, the Montpellier Méditerranée Métropole property development company. The project was won by two regional developers, FDI Groupe and Holding Tissot, which have invested 96 million euros.
“@7center’s success demonstrates Montpellier’s strong appeal,” adds Dominique Guérin.
