ESMA students on the What a Trip festival poster!

Information updated on 27/10/22

The What a Trip festival strikes again! ESMA students were chosen to design the poster for the event’s sixth edition. The school’s young talents applied their skills while taking context and constraints into account.

Presentation of the students’ immersion in the professional world.

A professional project

ESMA's graphic design students work on real projects throughout their studies. This year, the young talents were asked to design the new poster for the What a Trip Festival. They came up with a universe that reflects the values conveyed by the festival, such as a tribute to travel and adventure, but also showing respect for the planet.

The poster’s creators explain their choices:

“We see a person from behind facing nature. The visual seems to appear before us, through the clouds. This poster offers a promise: The What A Trip Festival will make you dream!”

How the poster represents adventure:

“We decided to create a visual that blends both people and nature. These graphic elements, designed with a double exposure, were developed in a poetic and human style. They convey the following message: The adventure is inside us all. We are motivated to discover these visuals, explore them, and get to know them, as a taste of what people attending the festival will have."

It was a proud moment for the students to see their work highlighted in such a manner: a successful first step towards the professional world!
