The Essenti’Elles program is based on three main pillars:
advice, funding, and connections. For this competition and associated assistance,
France Active Airdie-Occitanie and its partners also want to promote ties among women entrepreneurs.
In February 2022, France Active Airdie-Occitanie, a social funding association, launched the first edition of its “
Les Essenti’Elles” competition. Publicized on social networks, in the press, and by Montpellier Métropole, the action was a big success with women entrepreneurs in Montpellier’s priority urban districts: a total of 42 applications were submitted.
The 13-member jury met on March 25 to distribute
41,000 € in awards to 15 women based on three criteria: the relevance of their entrepreneurial project, their company’s added value, and the project leader’s experience and motivation.
Over and above this support for launching their business activity, winners will benefit from mentoring and a reinforced support program, which includes networking and training.
Nevertheless, even non-winners will not be left by the wayside. They will be accompanied by France Active Airdie-Occitanie advisors and partners to give them every chance to succeed with their project and perhaps try their luck again in the next edition of the competition scheduled for late 2022.
