Transitions Invest, the new gathering for finance professionals, met its goal by attracting 400 participants

This first edition of the Transitions Invest event was designed to address the new growth and innovation strategies of business leaders. The trade fair’s objectives were to facilitate meetings between companies and financiers, help people find funding solutions, exchange ideas, and raise awareness about development opportunities and new initiatives to be implemented in order to materialize or pursue essential changes.

With this in mind, 40 financial players and consulting firms, banks, investment funds, economic development organizations, crowdfunding, brokers, and more, were in attendance to hold 360 dedicated BtoB meetings. It was a great opportunity for managers to innovate, adapt, boost their business, and promote their company, regardless of their size, and to access funding resources more easily. Participants also realized that integrating societal criteria is now a competitive advantage and not a burden that weighs on their bottom line.

Public stakeholders were also there to present their offerings (Occitanie Region, Ad’Occ) or to provide valuable advice (Chamber of Commerce and Industry, local authorities). Two areas of expertise were on display at the Montpellier Métropole booth:
  • A “Financial Engineering” team seeking to clarify existing measures and guide managers according to their needs.
  • A “Business Establishment” team, focusing on very specific issues related to land and real estate.

A day filled with highlights for the entrepreneurial community

The day’s highlights included four conferences – attended by nearly 370 participants – led by CCI experts and supported by the vision of financial professionals answering the questions of today’s business leaders regarding investment capital, performance levers involving digital technology, lower energy costs resulting from the ecological transition, and managerial practices to improve employee efficiency.

At the end of the day, Transitions Invest hosted the launch of “Occitanie Place Financière,” a new association that serves as a hub to unite the regional entrepreneurial financing ecosystem. Created by the merger of the Occitanie Financier Club and Toulouse Place Financière, the new association intends to create a powerful ecosystem built with financial players in the Occitanie region, seeking to create strong regional influence.
Beyond its promise to help make it easier for businesses to access financing solutions, Montpellier Métropole also sees this new organization as an opportunity to accelerate business transformation by supporting projects delivering overall economic and social performance.

Transitions Invest:  a unique event that facilitates and optimizes the process for businesses; an event that helps managers save time by providing access to a full range of funding solutions in a single day; a collective project that is consistent with tomorrow’s economy based on global, financial, AND societal performance.
