Hosted by the City of Montpellier and Montpellier Métropole, the Futurapolis Santé event is dedicated to health and scientific innovation. The 3rd edition will be held on October 18-19 at the Comédie Opera House in Montpellier.
Event agendaFeaturing conferences as well as equipment and technology demonstrations in a “Discovery Gallery”, the 2-day event will be rich with surprises and revelations!
The program of free events for the general public includes: Miroslav Radman, a biologist and geneticist who will present his research on cell rejuvenation; Professor Jean-Marie Robine, who jointly confirmed the age of the world’s oldest person – Jeanne Calment – and will address the controversy surrounding her identity; and Cynthia Fleury, a philosopher who will discuss the ethical implications of an increasingly elderly society. Many other topics will also be covered by the event’s numerous speakers.
The Discovery Gallery will feature an Escape Game and a booth focusing on hearing, while highly innovative startups can be found alongside world-renowned research institutes. From nutrition to mobility to fall-prevention, you are sure to find what interests you, whether you are a professional or simply curious.
