From 14 05/18
From 14 May 2018
to 16 May 2018
Information updated on 20/06/18

The National Territorial Engineering Conference (RNIT), organized by CNFPT and the French Association of Territorial Engineers (AITF), is a major annual technical and public engineering event. More than 800 participants are expected.
The 2018 event will focus on transitions taking place throughout French territories, notably: democratic, digital, ecological, and digital transitions. Different perspectives and experiences of experts, practitioners and researchers will be shared.
Pierre Rabhi, a French essayist, farmer, novelist, ecologist, and poet, founder of the Colibris movement, will open the event and talk about his experience with transitions, from local action to global thinking. These issues will be explored during plenary sessions and workshops based on testimonials presented by technical and city planning departments.
Attendees will also be invited to participate in “technical tours.” These tours will offer people a different perspective of Montpellier and Montpellier Méditerranée Métropole, hosts of the event in an area marked by transitions, from urban farming to positive energy territories, a recognized territory for health activities as well as French Tech certifications.
Partner: French Association of Territorial Technicians (ATTF)
