FOLLOWING SPORTS TEAMS

On a national level, Montpellier was chosen as a stop-over city on the Tour de France 2013.
Locally, Montpellier enjoys prestigious teams such as:

  • Montpellier Méditerranée Métropole Handball (MAHB)
With 36 national and international titles under its belt, MAHB is one of the most winning teams in France, in any sport. The team achieved a historic quadruple-victory season in 2011/2012: Champions trophy, League Cup, French Cup and French Championship.
  • Montpellier Hérault Rugby Club
Vice champion in France for the Top 14 in 2011, Montpellier Hérault Rugby Club has qualified again this season for the Heineken Cup.
  • Montpellier Hérault Sport Club
As the national rankings of the French Football Federation have shown, MHSC has been one of the best young clubs in the country for the past several seasons (1st division French champion in 2012).

ATTENDING TRADE SHOWS AND CONFERENCES

The Exhibition Park has hosted trade shows, general assemblies and all types of conferences since 1968.
Every year, the site is home to events such as the Montpellier International Fair, and SITEVI - the International Trade Exhibition of Equipment and Techniques for Vine and Fruit-Growing and Wine-making Sectors.
At a single location, the Exhibition Park offers 10 modular halls, 9 plenary rooms and 15 offices!

ENJOYING THE NIGHT-LIFE

Just like the Place de la Comédie and Ecussion areas in downtown Montpellier, the Odysseum shopping and leisure center offers numerous restaurants, tapas bars and cafés.

SHOPPING

With over 70 name brand stores, the Odysseum shopping center was designed to meet consumers' demand to have a little more fun during their free time.
This vast development program is no doubt the most innovative leisure and commercial complex in France, with its integrated tramway line and 135,000 sq. meters of culture-leisure space and pleasant shopping.
