The third ActInSpace event will take place on May 25-26. Dedicated to space applications, this hackathon was created by the French Space Agency (CNES) and organized in partnership with the European Space Agency (ESA). The event is coordinated in Montpellier by Montpellier Méditerranée Métropole BIC in partnership with University of Montpellier, IAE, and the Van Allen Foundation, and with the support of sponsors: Crédit Agricole du Languedoc, Harmonie Mutuelle, SNCF, Atos, Pépite LR, University of Montpellier Doctoral College, and Association Contact for doctoral students and PhDs in the Académie de Montpellier academic district.
This initiative seeks to develop entrepreneurial spirit for young people and demonstrate that space is a vector for innovation with the potential for jobs and economic development.
Teams of students have 24 hours to take on one of the challenges proposed by CNES, ESA, and their partners. Encouraging participants to work together and surpass themselves, ActInSpace offers a warm and friendly environment for promoting the use of space technologies to benefit people, jobs, and our planet, with the support of experts in the fields of space and entrepreneurship.
This third edition of ActInSpace will take place simultaneously in several cities around France, Europe, and the rest of the world (36 countries and 73 cities).
The event in Montpellier will be held at the IAE campus starting Friday, May 25 at 1:00 PM and all day on Saturday, May 26.
