DigiWorld Week 2016 (November 12 to 20) will focus largely on digital trust, a theme also covered during the DigiWorld Summit. Nearly 60 events are organized for the week focusing on digital issues. 80% of them will be held in the metropolis area. Exposure for events representing the seven thematic networks awarded to Montpellier is a special feature of the 2016 edition: health, sports, finance, security, agroecology, connected objects, and cultural and creative industries.
This year, once again, DigiWorld Week will be a unique occasion to stimulate a national and international debate on the major issues shaping our new digital world, and to reveal the richness of a region that has clearly taken sides with the extraordinary potential of its research, startup companies, leading companies, clusters, support policies... and its growing numbers of top talent.
About IDATE and the DigiWorld Institute Through the expertise of its specialized research teams, IDATE has established itself as an industry reference for monitoring markets in telecom, Internet, and media sectors since 1977.
