Training for creating innovative companies: a new Jump’In Creation session begins in October

Information updated on 20/06/18
For the past several years, the Montpellier Méditerranée Métropole Business and Innovation Centre (BIC) has offered intensive mentoring sessions to give startup projects a boost. Registration is required to attend these sessions, reserved for a limited number of innovative company founders. A new session begins on October 5.

Jump’In Creation is a semi-annual program created to give founders of innovative companies a real motivational boost.
The program is presented by industry professionals over a period of three months, with sessions taking place two or three days per week. Jump’In Creation helps participants, all of whom are project leaders with plans to develop innovative companies, acquire relevant tools and methodology to move forward towards creation.
The program works with project leaders to formalize their value proposals, elaborate business models, and optimize communication. It helps them focus on business and web network strategies, while securing technical, legal, and branding aspects.
Funded by Montpellier Méditerranée Métropole, Languedoc-Roussillon Region, and the European Social Fund (ESF), the Jump’In Creation program includes 200 hours of group sessions, hands-on workshops targeting the participants’ specific projects, and ongoing contact with innovation and company creation experts.
Testimonials:
“Very high quality training with very competent presenters. We learned a lot about numerous different areas. The program also enabled us to benefit from a large number of additional contacts.” Arnaud Knobloch, Co-founder & CEO, Vadequa
“Participating in the Jump’In Creation program enabled us to take a global approach with our transition from an intensive R&D phase to an industrialization and commercialization phase. Being accompanied by other company creators from widely varying horizons gave us all an opportunity to share our experience and benefit from a broader view of entrepreneurship in general, with group energy that was very beneficial at this point in our project.” Aurélien Vaysset, Co-founder, Emersya.
Two sessions are organized every year. The first session in 2015 was held in the Spring. The second begins on October 5 and will run through December.
This program is designed for project leaders and managers of innovative companies seeking to set up operations in the Montpellier Méditerranée Métropole territory. It also targets those budding entrepreneurs assisted by members of the Synersud network. Twelve projects are selected to participate in each session.
