9th edition of the Montpellier Méditerranée Rotary Club’s Start’up Initiative Award

The 9th edition of the Start’up Initiative Award sponsored by the Montpellier Méditerranée Rotary Club has chosen three companies assisted by Montpellier Méditerranée Métropole BIC.

On Wednesday, April 20, the 9th edition of the Montpellier Méditerranée Rotary Club competition rewarded three young companies assisted by Montpellier Méditerranée Métropole BIC. Hind EMAD, Vice President of Montpellier Méditerranée Métropole, in charge of Economic and Digital Development was present at the ceremony.
  • La Picorée, headed by Pauline Renard, was designated as the honorary winner.
  • The other two winners were Via Transit and Drop of Curiosity.
La Picorée received a prize of €2,000, while Via Transit and Drop of Curiosity each received a prize of €1,000. All three companies will also benefit from two years of support from members of the Montpellier Méditerranée Rotary Club’s business committee, as well as access to Rotary’s national and international network and a 500 € voucher for accommodation at the Espace Entreprise offices.

The Montpellier Méditerranée Rotary Club’s Start’Up Initiative Award is the culmination of an exclusive partnership between the Montpellier Méditerranée Rotary Club and Montpellier BIC. The program rewards entrepreneurs under 35 years of age who run a company less than 3 years old that has an innovative project, distinctive added value, and a competitive advantage.

Who are the three winning companies?

  • La Picorée, the honorary winner, run by Pauline Renard
The company develops a range of products designed to improve nutrition for oncology patients and populations at risk of malnutrition: savory and sweet snacks made with organically grown ingredients.
